History

The history of the present-day hotel site dates back to 1906. Over the years, the property has operated under various names, including Pension Pichler, Gasthaus Schnitzer, Gasthof Eberle and Wiesseer Hof. Locally, it was also known as the "Kirchenwirt".

Following a fire in the late 1970s, the building was largely reconstructed. In 2002, the Steiger family took over the hotel.

In 2017, Korbinian Kohler acquired the property and developed it into the HOTEL BUSSI BABY concept. The hotel opened in June 2018.

Following extensive renovation and modernisation, the hotel reopened in September 2022. The transformation included the creation of SPA ROYAL, featuring a rooftop spa and infinity pool, as well as the Boom Boom Restaurant and Boom Boom Bar.
